Preschool Arts

In Preschool, the arts are integral to classroom learning and play, and Preschool students participate in a variety of art and music activities daily.

Music
In prekindergarten, children experience music as part of a hands-on curriculum that includes songs, rhythmic chants, and movement. Several student performances are held during the year. Formal music instruction with a certified music teacher begins in junior kindergarten.

Visual Arts
Preschool students engage in a variety of art activities, developing small motor skills, creative thinking, and expressive potential. The arts become a way for students to make connections between disciplines and to grow in self-expression.
