Curious Minds: Engaging Young Minds and Exploring Possibilities
Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019 - Self Help Skills
Please note that this event is for adults only (parents and care givers).
Help your child to gain important life skills that will benefit them in the classroom setting and throughout life. We will discuss a variety of topics including taking turns and sharing; listening when others are speaking; working through a personal upset; and accepting redirection. Understanding these life skills will help foster your child's social and emotional intelligence, as well as his or her ability to become kind and emphatic citizens. Prekindergarten faculty Muffie MacKedon Browne and Jennifer Keppler, who have a combined nearly 60 years of early childhood education instruction, will share their insight and tips for building these important skills.
