A Message From the USM Alumni Association
Dear USM Alumni Family,
University School of Milwaukee has played an important part of our lives, and as the new president of the Alumni Association board, I am committed to strengthening your relationship with the school. The Alumni Association exists to assist the school in supporting our alumni community and we are seeking new opportunities to serve you.
As your Alumni Association works to provide you with meaningful ways to engage with your USM community, I invite you to consider finding ways to give back to USM in whatever way you feel comfortable. I welcome you to become a mentor, support programmatic or curricular advancement through a monetary gift, volunteer at an event, or simply attend an event with your fellow alumni. All of these things help create a stronger and more vibrant USM. I encourage you to connect or reconnect with old friends and to find new friendships within the USM community. By working together, we can build an even stronger alumni network around the globe.
If you haven't done so already, please consider joining USM Connect, the online platform just for USM alumni. It's a wonderful way to connect, not just with your classmates but with alumni from all years. Here you will find avenues to network with others and sign up to help support students and fellow graduates through alumni programs that resonate with you. Whether you live in Milwaukee or on the other side of the world, I invite you to take advantage of this online resource to reinforce your connection with the USM community. You are a key member of our community, and the Alumni Association would love to hear from you. If you have nominations for new board members, or ideas for things you would like to see from the Association in regard to events and activities, please reach out. We are always striving to create opportunities to enrich your lives and for you to enrich the lives of our current students and alumni.
Lastly, I would like to give a huge shout out to Andy Gordon '98, my predecessor in the role of Alumni Association board president. His leadership and dedication to the school are second to none and I thank him for his exemplary service.
